a bit about me
My name is Francesca, and I’m a freelance graphic designer, though I like to think of myself as a full‑time wrangler of colours, typography and the occasional creative crisis.
I first stumbled into the world of illustration at 16, when a childhood friend decided I had talent (a bold claim at that age) and introduced me to a publisher. Whether I was young and naive or secretly wise beyond my years I didn’t pursue graphic design properly until many moons later. Just when I thought my creative spark had packed its bags and left, it came roaring back with a vengeance…
For over a decade, I’ve been designing for small charities and businesses, partly because I love supporting the people who need it most, and partly because, let’s be honest, it’s nice to earn a little something while doing what you love. It’s meaningful work, it keeps me on my toes, and it proves that creativity really does have a way of finding you again when you least expect it.
