a bit about me
My name is Francesca and I am a freelance graphic designer.
I started out as a book illustrator at 16, thanks to a childhood friend who believed in my abilities and introduced me to a publisher, but being young and naive, or wise and mature, I still don’t know, I didn't pursue anything graphic design until many moons later when I rediscovered my mojo - just when I thought all that creative spark had gone - and haven't let it go since!
For over a decade I have been designing for small charities and businesses, because I enjoy designing and supporting those who need it the most and, of course, because I earn a bit of something in the process.
Am I the right fit for your project?
It depends.
As with any design professional, (most that I know of anyway), there are things I can do and enjoy working on more than others. Because the success of your project is non-negotiable and more than often time sensitive too, I want to be clear about what I can and cannot do.
If you are looking for editorial design, such as brochures, flyers and reports, a killer PowerPoint presentation, infographics or a website built with Wordpress, Wix or Drupal, then you have found the right person. HIRE ME.
I may not be a superhero or a modern day Houdini, but I deliver on brand, on time and on budget!
On the other hand, if you are looking for support with animations and video, or a 3D artist, then you are best off turning to a fellow designer who can do these better... and if you are after social media posts and banners, why not give good old Canva a try.
